Sisterhood

Onna House is pleased to present “Sisterhood" as the inaugural show at the Palm Beach gallery at The Royal Poinciana Plaza. As sisterhood infers, this show aims to celebrate strength in a female community but also seeks to highlight the individuality and diversity within that collective strength. "Sisterhood" goes beyond the traditional boundaries of art exhibitions by featuring a diverse range of practices, from ceramics and textiles to sculpture, painting, and furniture. The multidisciplinary approach not only showcases the talents of the featured artists but also emphasizes the greatness and depth of women's contributions to the art world.

The exhibition proudly shows a spectrum of artists, including Mitsuko Asakura, Anne Brandhoej, Rachelle Dang, Jane Yang D’haene, Amy Dov, Fiorella Escalon, Debora Oden, Alice Hope, Yoona Hur, Kathy Howard Jacobson, Leah Kaplan, Kelly Klein, Mary Little, Kayla Powers, Maria Robledo, Isabel Rower, Whitney Sharpe, Katrien Van der Schueren, Janice Stanton, Patricia Udell, Amy Wickersham, and Almond Zigmund, in addition to works by Brittany Mojo and Ornella Pocetti presented in collaboration with Mindy Solomon Gallery. These women, each with her distinct voice and style, collectively contribute to the vibrant narrative of sisterhood.

Community, collaboration, difference, and diversity are not just themes; they are the foundation upon which the exhibit stands. The artworks function as vessels of shared experiences, celebrating the bonds that connect women across generations, cultures, and artistic expressions.
